Thibaud Boudignon, one of the rising stars of the Loire Valley, has quickly gained a reputation for crafting some of the finest expressions of Chenin Blanc. Established near Angers, his small estate focuses on biodynamic principles, precise viticulture, and minimal intervention in the cellar. The “Clos de la Hutte” comes from a historic walled vineyard in Savenni\u00e8res, producing wines of remarkable purity, tension, and complexity.<\/p>\n

Terroir\u202f<\/h3>\n

Clos de la Hutte is located on schist and sandstone soils with a loamy top layer, typical of the Savenni\u00e8res appellation. This terroir, combined with biodynamic vineyard management and low yields, brings intensity, salinity, and minerality to the Chenin Blanc grapes, resulting in a wine of both power and finesse.<\/p>\n

Pale yellow with golden reflections. The nose is pure and intense, revealing aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, quince, and wet stone.
