Domaine History

Created in 1999 by the Boisset family, Domaine de la Vougeraie brings together exceptional vineyard holdings across Burgundy, all farmed organically and biodynamically. The domaine is renowned for its commitment to terroir expression and precision winemaking, from Grand Crus to village wines.

Terroir

The Champ Gain Premier Cru vineyard is located at high altitude on the upper slopes of Puligny-Montrachet. Its stony, limestone-rich soils and excellent drainage contribute to the wine’s tension, minerality, and aromatic precision, producing Chardonnays of remarkable finesse and aging potential.

Tasting Notes

Bright pale gold color. The nose is refined and complex, with aromas of citrus blossom, white peach, and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, the wine is elegant and vibrant, featuring a beautiful mineral backbone and a long, harmonious finish.

A pure and energetic Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru, combining finesse, minerality, and aromatic richness.
