Domaine History

Run by the Alary family for over ten generations, Domaine Oratoire Saint-Martin is a historic estate in Cairanne, Southern Rhône. The domaine practices organic farming and focuses on traditional winemaking methods, crafting wines that highlight the elegance and complexity of their terroir.

Terroir

Haut Coustias comes from old vines planted on marl and blue clay soils with a limestone base. This terroir, combined with the Mediterranean climate, allows for slow ripening and concentration, giving depth, structure, and finesse to the wine.

Tasting Notes

Deep garnet red color. The nose is complex and intense, with aromas of blackberries, licorice, garrigue herbs, and subtle smoky notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with fine-grained tannins, layered black fruit, and a long, spicy, and mineral finish.
