Château Vieux Maillet, located in the heart of the prestigious Pomerol appellation, is known for producing refined and expressive Right Bank wines. The estate’s vineyards sit on a mix of clay and sandy-gravel soils, ideal for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This terroir allows for excellent water regulation and deep root development, bringing richness, balance, and complexity to the wine.

테이스팅 노트

Deep garnet color with purple reflections. The nose is elegant and intense, with aromas of ripe blackberries, dark plums, violets, and sweet spices, alongside hints of licorice and cocoa. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and smooth, with velvety tannins, rich fruit concentration, and a long, harmonious finish with mineral freshness.

양조 및 숙성

Manual harvest with strict grape selection. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Aging in French oak barrels (including a significant proportion of new oak) for 12 to 18 months, enhancing aromatic complexity and roundness.
