This wine is undoubtedly a hidden gem. Named after Antares, the brightest star in Scorpio, it is cultivated in Lirac by organic farming and biodynamic methods, only local yeast is used for winemaking and ageing. After opening the bottle, it’s better to let the wine wake up a little, you can smell a touch of violet and Herbs of Provence, accompanied by blackberry, black cherry, plum, black currant, and licorice flavor. Black pepper and a hint of spices will show in your mouth. With its silky tannin, this is a very juicy and rich yet beautifully balanced and full-bodied wine. It has great ageing potential.
