Charles Frey Sylvaner is from a single vineyard called “Blettig”.Sylvaner is a grape variety only used in Alsace and Germany: a local grape that has some very interesting flavors. The wine shows a light straw color with silver hue. On the nose you can perceive: stone fruits aromas (apricot, Mirabelle plum), citrus flavors and lemongrass. It is pleasant in the mouth with a fresh acidity that shows its characteristic hint of hay finishing with flint and a mineral bite.
