Medium to deep ruby in colour with a touch of purple rim. Nose is concentrated and vibrant with load of black cherry, dark berry fruits (blackberry, mulberry, blackcurrant), wild berry, sweet strawberry, vanilla bean, cassis leaf, forest floor, wood toast, hint of mint and leather. Full-bodied, firm structure, mouthfeel is round with notes of wild berry, cassis, cassis leaf, rosemary and a drizzle of cranberry and smoke. Strawberry yogurt, strawberry compote, sweet blueberry and vanilla bean on the finish. Grapes from an average of 30 year old vines, fermented with indigenous yeasts. No winemaking additives except for low levels of sulphites before bottling. Aged 18 months in big oak cask (57 hl) and barrels (500 l)
