Few words about this wine

This wine comes from a very sunny region in the south of France, AOP Corbières. Thanks to the weather the grape reaches an evenly ripeness providing the wine with a rich fruity touch.

Why I like this wine

The wine has lots of very mature blue and black berries aroma with a hint of sweetness, typically called “jammy” or cooked fruit flavor in the wine business; following on the nose we have herbaceous hints of mint and bay leaves with some black pepper. On the mouth is round and intense, lovely structure and tannin.

Aubert et Mathieu

It’s a story about two friends who want to change the way we produce and consume wine : a modern and committed vision for the planet.

They believe in meaningful viticulture. They make wine in South of France using environmentally and responsible practices . Their packaging is eco friendly.

They support local biodiversity, in particular, reforestation plans and help to beekeepers. They want to move the lines, to contribute to a world more transparent, more authentic, more sustainable.
