Côtes de Bordeaux Cht Bourdon la tour 2016

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this 2018 boasts a deep ruby color full of promise. Equally intense, the bouquet has a lot of breeding notes (spices, roasted coffee), but ripe fruit is starting to emerge in the background. The palate, round and supple, has enough substance to let us hope for a blossoming of the fruit and the notes of licorice. The long and tannic finish is a good omen.

A couple of awards have been won by this wine in competition: the 2016 vintage was awarded Bronze from the Concours de Bordeaux Vins d’Aquitaine as well as Bronze from the Concours des Grands Vins de France Macon.
