Domaine Balansa AOP Fitou bel soula 2018

This wine shows a deep ruby color with purple hue. On the nose we can perceive slightly dried dark berries aroma such as raisin, plum and blackberry followed by hints of mint and sage notes, finishing with the perfume of violet flower. The wine is fresh and elegant in the mouth: juicy dark berries flavors with, at the end, black pepper spicy notes; tannins are present but graceful and accompanied by a good level of acidity.
“Bel soula” is made by 3 grapes with 2 different methods: carignan and grenache noir, mixed together, go through carbonic maceration while syrah ferments in the concrete tank, that is why this wine has juicy berries aromas but also a got structure.
