Fruits are sourced from the heart of Saint-Veran, where the soil is dominated by chalk that dates back to the Jurassic era and is perfect for growing Chardonnay. Grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromatics. Wines are further aged with lees contact to give extra mouthfeel. Medium straw in color with green hue. Nose is fruit-forward and fresh with loads of juicy apricot, quince, yellow apple, yellow kiwi fruit, pineapple, ripened green pear, mandarin, orange peel and accompanied by basil and a hint of un-toasted almond. Zesty, juicy and bright on the palate with lemon like crispiness, as well as lovely notes of murcott (honey tangerine), stone fruits and a trace of frangipani. Round mouthfeel. Candied citrus fruits, tangerine, plenty of white flowers and a hint of untoasted nuts on the finish.
