Few words about this wine

De-stemmed grapes, 22 days maceration with temperatures not exceeding 28° to preserve the fruit. Extraction with alternating punching of the cap and pumping over according to the daily tastings, devatting then maturing on fine lees in vats for 2/3 of the cuvée, maturing in new 600-liter half muids for the rest. Bottling after 11 months of maturation.

Why I like this wine

Robe : Very intense purple robe
Nose : Complex nose of black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry), citrus fruits (grapefruit), flowers (violet), accompanied by a roasted and toasted note.
Palate : Very nice structure which combines power and finesse. The attack is silky then the freshness brings a beautiful finesse. The mouth is very aromatic. The still crunchy tannins give this wine a good potential for ageing, but it expresses itself now with a nice dense and fresh frame.
The grilled and roasted aromas bring a nice length at the end of the mouth.
