Joven Marques del Villar 2021

Crafted in the classic Rioja style with a blend of Tempranillo and a small portion of Mazuelo (a.k.a. Carignan in France). The wine is medium ruby in colour with hint of purple hue. Aromas is subtle and fragrant with red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamon), fresh herbs (basil), tomato leaf, red flowers and a hint of toasted wood. Medium bodied, round texture with firm yet balancing tannin and characters of cedar wood, mix spices and red fruits. Mulberry, forest floor and a touch of curd meat-like savouriness.
