Few words about this wine

This pinot noir grows from Mediterranean climate region, but usually this grape variety is found in moderate climate such as for example Burgundy; here the winemaker has to really work really hard and find a colder place to plant it. Luckily, Aubert et Mathieu does a wonderful job.

Why I like this wine

The wine is bright, pale ruby toward purple color; it shows matured red and dark fruits aromas like cherries, blackberries, and raspberries. On the mouth the wine is pleasant: you can perceive the same flavor as on the nose with good acidity. It expresses a freshness and elegant finish.

Aubert et Mathieu

It’s a story about two friends who want to change the way we produce and consume wine: a modern and committed vision for the planet.
They believe in meaningful viticulture. They make wine in the South of France using environmentally and responsible practices. Their packaging is eco friendly.
They support local biodiversity, in particular, reforestation plans and help beekeepers. They want to move the lines, to contribute to a world more transparent, more authentic, more sustainable.
