François Villard has been referred by the world renowned wine critic, Robert Parker Jr., as one of the “stars” in the Northern Rhone valley. Bright, light golden in colour. Gentle and fresh on the nose with apricot, brown-skinned pear, red apple, tangerine, lemon, joining with tones of fresh white flowers (orange blossom in particular) and hint of honey and unroasted nuts (almond and walnut). Generous and luscious on the palate with rounded mouthfeel and a touch of flint-like minerality. Clean and crispy finish with candied stone fruit peels and brioche.
