Established in the 1709, Charles Frey is a multi-generation family operated winegrowers, as well as a pioneer in practicing organic and biodynamic viticulture in Alsace. Bright medium straw in colour. Nose is packed with stone fruits (fresh apricot and nectarine in specific), ripened green pears and white flowers, accompanied with bosc pear, nashi pear, tangerine, mix sweet herbs and a drizzle of honey. Palate off-dry and delicious and is well balanced with crispy, stone-fruit like acidity; texture is round and generous with plenty of stone fruits & yellow fruits character. Finish is aromatic and crystal clear with fresh lime, pear, fresh apricot and a touch of fresh herbs (tarragon).
