Domaine History

Yves Cuilleron, a benchmark winemaker in the Northern Rhône, took over the family estate in 1987. Known for his meticulous craftsmanship and passion for Syrah and Viognier, he produces precise and expressive wines that faithfully reflect the Rhône Valley’s terroirs.

Terroir

‘Pierres Sèches’ comes from several parcels of granitic soils on the hillsides of Saint-Joseph. The name refers to the traditional dry-stone walls that support these steep vineyards, contributing to optimal sun exposure and drainage.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby color with purple hues. The nose opens with aromas of blackberries, blueberries, violets, and a hint of pepper. On the palate, the wine is fresh and well-structured, with fine tannins, juicy dark fruit, and a long, mineral-accented finish.

A vibrant and elegant Syrah, combining fruit intensity, floral lift, and mineral precision.
