Toscana Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2016

Dark red in color with black edges and a bright red hue. The nose is fragrant and smells of rose petals, which turn into ripe to dried red cherries and red currants. Added to this are aromas of earth, light tobacco, black pepper, fresh herbs and spicy cedar wood. The palate seems weightless, but then it’s taken over by a mix of red to dark cherry and currant aromas, complemented by an appealing spice. The complexity is completed by spicy notes of cedar, forest floor and dried herbs. Testamatta is characterized by a beautiful freshness with muscular but finely drawn tannins, which lead to a powerful but refined finish.
