Speri Amarone Classico Sant’Urbano 2004

The Volnay ‘Les Serpens’ from Domaine Monthélie Douhairet Porcheret is a superb example of this Côte de Beaune cru renowned for its femininity. From a tiny 0.14 ha parcel in the lower part of Volnay, this Pinot Noir reveals its intense fruit (raspberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant) in all delicacy, underpinned by fine acidity and silky tannins that further add to its elegance. A beautiful red wine from Burgundy, which is particularly appreciated with white meat or poultry. Serve at 14°C.
