This wine comes from a very sunny region in the south of France, AOP Corbières. Thanks to the weather the grape reaches an evenly ripeness providing the wine with a rich fruity touch.

Why I like this wine

The wine has lots of very mature blue and black berries aroma with a hint of sweetness, typically called “jammy” or cooked fruit flavor in the wine business; following on the nose we have herbaceous hints of mint and bay leaves with some black pepper. On the mouth is round and intense, lovely structure and tannin.
