酒莊介紹
Giuseppe Quintarelli, known as “The Master of the Veneto,” established a global reputation for producing some of Italy’s most iconic wines from the Valpolicella Classica region. “Rosso del Bepi” is crafted only in vintages when the estate chooses not to produce Amarone, maintaining the highest standards of quality and reflecting Quintarelli’s philosophy of patience, precision, and passion.
風土條件
The vineyards are located on the hillside slopes of Negrar in Valpolicella, characterized by limestone and basalt-rich soils. The combination of Mediterranean breezes and cool nights promotes slow ripening, ideal for the appassimento process where grapes are carefully dried to intensify flavors and structure.
釀造工藝
Rosso del Bepi is made from hand-harvested grapes, dried using the traditional appassimento method. Fermentation with native yeasts is slow and natural, followed by approximately seven years of aging in large Slavonian oak barrels. Every stage is executed with extraordinary attention to detail, ensuring the wine’s purity and complexity.
品飲筆記
Dense and dark, Rosso del Bepi reveals ethereal notes of liqueur cherries, brambles, hedgerows, and wildflowers, lifted by vibrant minerality. Despite its concentration and intensity, the wine remains remarkably pure, never heavy, with a graceful, almost weightless complexity. Bright acidity and fine tannins promise decades of graceful aging, though even now it offers pure hedonistic pleasure with its layered richness and profound depth.
A masterful expression of appassimento—indulgent, elegant, and built for the ages, balancing power with finesse.
餐酒搭配
Perfect with braised meats, osso buco, wild game, aged cheeses, or enjoyed on its own as a contemplative meditation wine.
