Château Bouissel was founded in 1928. This particular wine has been fermented in relatively lower temperature, post-fermentation maceration for 10 days and aging in steel vats for 12 months, in order to preserve freshness and fruitiness from the grapes. Bright and medium ruby in colour. Vibrant and gentle on the nose with loads of red fruits (raspberry, cranberry, red cherry), fresh plum, vanilla bean, mild notes of sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and a touch of savouriness. Palate is elegant with silk-grained tannin, notes of dried herbs and red cherry. Assorted red berry fruits, blackcurrant and a drizzle of mix wood toast and leather on the finish.
