This 1er Cru “Bélissand” climate derives from the Gallic goddess of fire and sources, Bélisama. In spring, in this area groundwater gushes to the surface and so it got its name. The ground here is clay and limestone. The terroir here reflects the wine which has a more structured body. The color is a very brilliant ruby red. The powerful nose of red fruit with a touch of liquorice. The attack is clean and dense with well-structured tannins.
