Castillon Côte de Bordeaux Cht Montlandrie 2011

75% merlot and 25% cabernet franc sourced from the estate’s twelve-hectare vineyard in Castillon.

The wine was raised in French oak wooden barrels, 50% of which are new. This gives a nice balance between finesse and fruit expression on the one hand and ripeness, complexity and luxurious oak influence on the other.

Drink this magnificent Bordeaux for example in combination with a classic meat dish, such as lamb, duck or game, or with a dish with mushrooms. If necessary, pour carefully into a decanter to separate the wine from its sediment. An opportunity not to be missed!
