Château Saint-Benoit Montagne Saint Emillon 2015

NT$1,190

The wine is medium to deep ruby in colour with a garnet rim. Subtle and gentle on the nose with black cherry, black berry, mulberry, plum and plenty sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, licorice), tobacco leaf, cedar, wood smoke, wood toast and a touch of mint. Elegant and silky on the palate with fine-grain tannin and notes of plum, ripened black fruits, tobacco leaf (almost cigar-like) and mild spices. Finish is multi-layered with black berry, bramble, black cherry and trace of lovely wood toast. The wine is well matured with adorable tertiary characters.
