La Baie Orientale Lionel Osmin & Cie 2021

NT$990

IGP Comté Tolosan covers a large area of South West France, though the vineyard is mostly planted with Malbec, yet outstanding aromatic white wines can also be found. La Baie Orientale is the perfect example with an interesting blend of several less common varieties in this region. Bright light gold in colour with a hint of straw. Nose is fruity and “summery” with loads of ripened stone fruits (apricot and nectarine in particular), melon, bosc pear, tangerine, lemon, white flowers and a hint of almost candied orange zest. Fresh and clean on the palate, the wine is mouthwatering and crispy with characters of lime zest, lemon, orange peel and wet stone-like minerality. Fresh lime, apricot and cut grass and a beautiful floral note on the finish.
