Deep ruby in colour. Full and concentrated on the aromas dominated with black cherry, black fruit (cassis, blackberry and mulberry in particular), black plum, accompanied with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, sun-dried sweet herbs (particular bay leaf), ripened bell pepper, toast and hint of mocha. Palate is dense with firm structure, plenty of elegant tannin and characters of black fruits, black cherry, black olives, dark chocolate, wood smoke and a hint of mix herbs. Sour cherry, wild berries, mint and a touch of cedar on the finish. Château de France is consulted by the world famous flying winemaker – Michel Rolland since 1996. 2019 is an outstanding vintage for Bordeaux.
