Domaine History

Serodes & Kovac is based in Rivesaltes, France. Its 2020 Le Minéral is a Picpoul de Pinet AOP made from the Mediterranean Piquepoul grape variety.

Terroir

The Piquepoul vines grow near the Mediterranean on limestone-gravel soils overlooking the Thau basin and its oyster farms.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested in mid-August. The juice ferments under temperature control in stainless-steel vats, then the wine is aged for six months on fine lees before estate bottling.

Tasting Notes

The 2020 wine is crisp and fruity, with lemon zest and lively mineral freshness.
