Picpoul de Pinet AOP, a relatively new appellation (Est. 2013) from an area close to the Mediterranean sea in Languedoc region. With 100% Piquepoul Blanc grapes the wine shows a great minerality paired with seafood dishes.This wine has a light straw yellow color with silver hue. On the nose you can perceive the fresh condition of citrus fruits aromas (lemon, lime zest) and melon fruit, followed by a hint of flinty notes. On the palate this wine is dry, crispy and very refreshing: the Mediterranean sea breeze brings lots of influence into this wine giving,apart from the lemon and lime flavor, a beautiful hint of stone mineral notes at the finish taste of Serodes & Kovac Picpoul de Pinet “Le Minéral” 2020.
