“En Pommards” is a climate located in Davayé, on the northern slope of the extension of the famous Roche de Solutré. The vines are planted in the middle of the slopes, on limestone soils with red clays, rich in iron. Here the vines share the view with the hazelnut trees. It is a cool area favoring slow maturation. And as a result the wine has a generous fragrance of ripe Bergeron apricots which gives way to a firm texture. Its flesh of white nectarine is awakened by a touch of salivating acidity. With a lot of elegance and minerality, this cuvée offers aromas of white flowers, gun stones, then dried fruits.
