Vinho Verde is one of the most iconic wines of Portugal and it literally means “green wine”. Bright grass-green in colour with some gas bubbles when opening. Superbly fresh and pronounce on the nose with succulent green fruit characters such as green apple, green pear, kiwi fruit, honeydew melon and lime, as well as fresh herbs (sage, basil), cut grass and a touch of honey. Appealing, crispy and clean on the palate with lime, summer fruits and lemonade-like fizziness. Citric fruits (lime, lemon) and a touch of floral note on the finish.
