St Emilion Grand Cru Heritage de Monlot 2010

NT$1,490

The nose is fruity and offers a fine richness as well as a fine freshness. Ripe blackcurrant, ripe blackberry and slightly fleshy/juicy strawberry notes are combined with very fine hints of blueberries, toast, spices as well as a subtle hint of camphor, cocoa and an imperceptible hint of light tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral, balanced, and offers freshness, a good definition, an acidulous frame, tension, fine straightness, a little greedy side as well as a fine suppleness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy blackcurrant, and more slightly fleshy strawberry associated with fine hints of cherry, very fine hints of licorice, camphor, racy minerality and very discreet hints of cocoa. The tannins are very finely firm. Good length and persistence. Suavity and palatability on the finish/persistence.
