Pomerol Cht Gombaude Guillot 2010

A sunny wine made from Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc on gravelly clay soil. A very colorful Pomerol which opens up with aeration on cooked and candied red fruits, nuanced with touches of game, the woodiness remaining very discreet. Warm in attack, with a nice roundness, it is tense with a little nervousness. Its dense tannins are beginning to soften.
