Chanson history
Poetry, storytelling, and a very French sense of humanity.
French chanson literally means "song", but it has come to represent a musical tradition centered on poetic lyrics, storytelling, and emotional expression.
Modern chanson emerged in the cafes and cabarets of late 19th-century Paris. It gave voice to ordinary people - workers, outcasts, dreamers, and the forgotten - becoming a reflection of society rich with humanity, irony, and social commentary.
Unlike pop traditions where rhythm and melody often lead, chanson places words at the center. A great chanson is a finely crafted poem set to music.

Sympathique
Light, playful, and quietly rebellious, Sympathique captures modern weariness and the longing for freedom with unmistakable French nonconformity.
