Good to know before you book

A few practical details help us prepare the right setting for your gathering.

Availability and confirmation

VAVIN’s own events take priority; remaining time slots may be offered for private rental. To confirm an event, a deposit equal to 50% of the minimum charge is required three weeks in advance.

Cancellation terms

Cancellation two weeks before the event is eligible for a 50% deposit refund; one week before, 30%; and three days before, 20%.

Outside food and cake

Outside food is charged at NT$500 per guest. One cake may be brought without an additional charge; disposable tableware must be supplied by the client.

Projection equipment

Please bring an Apple computer or tablet and use Wi-Fi mirroring. External hard drives, USB drives and other data-transfer devices are not accepted.

Sound and microphone

The venue provides a projector and sound system. An external microphone rental can be arranged for NT$2,500; please request it at least two weeks before the event, subject to provider availability.

Smoking and neighbourhood

Smoking is prohibited inside; a designated area is available outside. Please keep noise levels down after 22:00. VAVIN may close the event early if repeated noise complaints persist.
