Azul Portugal Vinho Verde Branco

Fernão Pires is an aromatic grape variety that is grown extensively throughout Portugal (approximately 95% of this varietal is planted in Portugal), it is usually blended with another local grape variety named Arinto and is normally drank young and fresh. Bright, light gold in colour. Nose is fresh and fruity with yellow apple, lemon, green pear, fresh apricot, tangerine, pineapple, mango, fresh herbs and a touch of white flowers. Energetic and crispy on the palate with stone fruit-like acidity, characters of green melon, apricot and peach. Finish is fresh with garden herbs, citrus and a touch of white pepper.
