Domaine History
Founded by Nicolas Potel, Maison Roche de Bellene embodies the spirit of Burgundy, focusing on old-vine plots and limited production. With a philosophy of minimal intervention, the estate showcases the purity and elegance of each terroir, offering wines of authenticity and depth.
Terroir
Latricières-Chambertin is one of the Grands Crus of Gevrey-Chambertin, located on well-drained limestone and marl soils. The cool microclimate and stony terrain contribute to the finesse, structure, and aging potential of this Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes
Brick red with garnet reflections. The nose reveals evolved aromas of dried cherry, forest floor, leather, and earthy spices. On the palate, silky tannins support complex layers of red fruit, sous-bois, and truffle, leading to a persistent, elegant finish.
A mature Grand Cru Pinot Noir, offering graceful evolution and remarkable balance after more than two decades of aging.
Pairing
Perfect with roasted duck, game meats, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses like Comté or Brie de Meaux.
