Founded by Jean Durup, Château de Maligny is one of the largest family-owned estates in Chablis. The domaine is known for its commitment to tradition and precise winemaking, producing wines that showcase the purity and minerality of the Chablis terroir.

Terroir

The Vau de Vey Premier Cru vineyard lies on steep slopes with Kimmeridgian limestone soils rich in marine fossils. The cool climate and exceptional exposure contribute to the finesse, tension, and mineral expression of this Chardonnay.

Tasting Notes

Pale gold with green reflections. The nose is elegant and fresh, offering notes of lemon, green apple, and flinty minerality. The palate is precise and vibrant, with bright acidity and a long, saline finish that highlights the terroir.
