Historia del Fundo

Founded by Frédéric Pourtalié, **Domaine de Montcalmès** is now recognized as one of the leading estates of the Languedoc. Located in Puéchabon, near Montpellier, the domaine has been practicing organic farming since 2015, focusing on small yields and respecting the natural balance of the vineyard. This cuvée reflects the identity of **Terrasses du Larzac**, combining power, elegance, and Mediterranean character.

Terruño

The vines are planted on clay-limestone slopes with a stony surface that retains heat and promotes good drainage. Benefiting from large temperature differences between day and night, the grapes achieve slow and balanced ripening, enhancing aromatic purity, freshness, and structure.

Notas de cata

Deep ruby color. The nose reveals intense aromas of black fruits, plum, licorice, and Mediterranean herbs (garrigue), complemented by floral notes of violet and hints of sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is rich and silky, with polished tannins, bright acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish.

A powerful yet elegant Terrasses du Larzac — offering aromatic depth, freshness, and superb balance with excellent aging potential.
