Domaine History

Château de Maligny, owned by the Durup family, is one of the largest family estates in Chablis, with a heritage rooted in several generations of winemakers. Dedicated to showcasing the unique terroir of Chablis, the estate focuses on precision viticulture and traditional winemaking techniques, producing wines that reflect purity, minerality, and elegance.


Terroir

Reine Mathilde 1er Cru is planted on the classic Kimmeridgian limestone and clay soils that define the Chablis region. This terroir, rich in marine fossils, imparts the distinctive minerality and freshness that are the hallmarks of great Chablis wines.


Tasting Notes
