Bright, light golden in colour. Aromas is fruity, fragrant and is packed with fresh stone fruits (nectarine and apricot in particular), green plum, ripe green pear, yellow fruits (quince), lemon, fresh basil, white flowers and a hint of smoke. Palate is round with wet stone-like minerality and characters of nectarine, green pear, mandarin and fresh mix herbs. Crispy and gentle – stone fruit like acidity. Ripe pear, quince, mix nuts and a touch of caramel on the finish. Grapes from an average of 30 year old vines. Relatively low yield of 30 hl/ha with direct pressing of all blended grape varieties, aged in stainless steel vats in order to preserve characters from the three grape varieties used.
