Founded in the 19th century, Domaine Jacques Prieur is one of Burgundy’s most prestigious estates, owning vineyards across key appellations from Côte de Nuits to Côte de Beaune. Known for meticulous vineyard work and traditional winemaking, the domaine offers wines of remarkable balance and depth.

Terroir

Located in the southern part of Meursault, near Volnay, the Santenots 1er Cru vineyard lies on clay-limestone soils. This terroir brings both richness and mineral tension, ideal for producing complex and age-worthy Chardonnays.

Note di degustazione

Brilliant pale gold color. The nose is expressive, revealing aromas of white flowers, lemon zest, and toasted almonds. On the palate, the wine is rich and precise, with a beautiful mineral backbone and a lingering, elegant finish.

A vibrant and structured Meursault 1er Cru, combining richness with purity and mineral finesse.
