Douro Reserve Especial Casa Ferreirinha 2007

The 2007 Reserva Especial has a very intense, almost opaque color. It also reveals an excellent intensity and aromatic quality, with well-ripened red fruits and black plums. Spices, such as cinnamon and clove, balsamic and cedar, tobacco box, and “sous-bois” together with very well-integrated wood notes also stand out. In the mouth, it has magnificent structure, firm tannins of great quality, balanced by a good acidity. Its great intensity and complexity provide an extremely long finish.
