Château du Cèdre, a flagship estate of the Cahors appellation, has been owned and managed by the Verhaeghe family for several generations. The vineyards are located on the limestone plateau and clay-limestone slopes of Cahors, with excellent sun exposure and natural drainage. This terroir provides ideal conditions for Malbec, allowing the grape to develop concentration, structure, and aromatic complexity.
