Marqués del Villar is a DOC Rioja cuvée presented by Les Passeurs de Vins under its Najavas / Marqués del Villar selection. The exact 2021 bottling is documented as a blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Mazuelo.

Terroir

The official cuvée sheet describes grapes selected in the heart of Rioja from calcareous-clay, ferrous-clay and alluvial soils.

Tasting Notes

The official cuvée profile describes a cherry colour with light violet reflections, a fruit-led nose with liquorice notes, and a broad palate with soft, structured tannins and a red-fruit finish.
