Domaine de l’Hortus, led by the Orliac family in the heart of the Pic-Saint-Loup region, is recognized for its precise and expressive wines. “Loup dans la Bergerie” reflects their playful spirit, offering an easy-drinking red with the same care and respect for the environment as their prestigious cuvées.

Terroir 

From vineyards located at the foot of the Hortus cliffs and the Pic Saint-Loup mountain, on limestone soils with Mediterranean influences. This terroir brings freshness, bright fruit, and aromatic intensity to the wine.

Notes de dégustation

Brilliant ruby color. The nose opens with notes of juicy red berries, soft spices, and floral hints. On the palate, the wine is smooth, fruity, and lively, with gentle tannins and a fresh, crunchy finish.
