Estate History
Domaine de la Grange des Pères, founded by Laurent Vaillé in the early 1990s, is recognized as one of the finest estates in the Languedoc. Known for its cult status and limited production, the estate produces both red and white wines that combine Mediterranean richness with Burgundian precision and aging potential.
Terroir
Planted on limestone scree and clay-limestone soils in the Hérault Valley, the vineyards benefit from optimal sun exposure and altitude, promoting slow ripening and aromatic concentration. The Mediterranean climate, moderated by local winds, enhances freshness and complexity.
Tasting Notes
Bright golden yellow. The nose is elegant and expressive, with aromas of white peach, citrus zest, honey, toasted almonds, and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and silky, with layered fruit, fine acidity, and a long, mineral finish. The magnum format offers slower aging and even greater aromatic development over time.
An exceptional and age-worthy white cuvée from Grange des Pères, combining richness, freshness, and complexity — magnified by the magnum format.
Pairing
Ideal with lobster, scallops, roasted poultry, creamy veal dishes, or aged cheeses like Comté and Beaufort.
