Founded in 1270, the **Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges** is one of Burgundy’s oldest charitable wine estates, producing prestigious cuvées each year for its renowned charity auction. The **Gevrey-Chambertin “Les Champs Chenys” Cuvée Irène Noblet 2020**, aged with care by **Albert Bichot** and exclusively acquired by **Vavin**, reflects the elegance and strength of this exceptional terroir, known for its structured and refined Pinot Noir.

Terroir

Bordering the Grand Crus of Gevrey-Chambertin, the **”Les Champs Chenys”** vineyard lies on clay-limestone soils with excellent drainage and sun exposure. This terroir produces Pinot Noir with intensity, aromatic purity, and superb balance between structure and finesse, qualities enhanced by Albert Bichot’s meticulous élevage.

Deep ruby red with purple hues. The nose is expressive and complex, revealing aromas of black cherry, raspberry, violet, and gentle spice, with a touch of earthy minerality. On the palate, the wine is structured yet elegant, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, harmonious, fruit-driven finish.
