Estate History

Maison Aegerter, led by Jean-Luc and Paul Aegerter since 1988, is dedicated to producing expressive and terroir-driven wines across Burgundy. The **Beaune 1er Cru “Les Reversées”** white stands out as a rare Premier Cru Chardonnay from Beaune, offering both richness and mineral finesse — a perfect expression of this prestigious Côte de Beaune climat.

Terroir

Located on the south-facing slopes of Beaune in the Côte de Beaune, the **”Les Reversées”** vineyard features clay-limestone soils that allow Chardonnay to reach optimal ripeness while preserving freshness. The warm 2009 vintage provided concentration and aromatic richness, balanced by elegant acidity and minerality.

Tasting Notes

Golden yellow color with shiny reflections. The nose is expressive, revealing notes of ripe pear, citrus zest, honey, almond, and brioche. On the palate, the wine is round and generous, with creamy texture, lively acidity, and a long, mineral, and balanced finish.

A graceful Beaune Premier Cru Chardonnay — combining richness, aromatic depth, and vibrant freshness with excellent maturity.

Pairing

Perfect with grilled lobster, scallops, creamy poultry dishes, or aged cheeses like Comté and Beaufort.
