Located in Cairanne in the Southern Rhône Valley, Domaine de l’Oratoire Saint-Martin has been family-run for over 300 years. Today, Frédéric and François Alary represent the latest generation, continuing the estate’s organic cultivation practices established in the 1990s. With deep respect for terroir and traditional winemaking, the domaine is dedicated to expressing purity, balance, and authenticity in every cuvée.

Terroir

The vineyards benefit from limestone-rich soils mixed with blue marl and scattered stones, providing excellent drainage and preserving freshness even under the warm Southern Rhône sun. The altitude and geological complexity contribute tension, minerality, and aromatic precision, allowing the white varieties to develop both richness and vibrant structure.

Notas de degustação

Brilliant pale gold with shimmering reflections. The nose opens with expressive aromas of white peach, pear, and citrus zest, layered with delicate floral notes and hints of fennel and wet stone.

On the palate, the wine is textured and harmonious, combining ripe orchard fruit with refreshing acidity and a distinct mineral backbone. The finish is long, elegant, and subtly saline, reflecting its limestone terroir. A refined yet characterful Rhône white, balancing generosity with freshness and offering excellent gastronomic versatility.
