Maison History

Founded in 1776 in Reims, Champagne Louis Roederer remains one of the few great Champagne houses to be independently owned and family-run. Known for its pursuit of excellence and its pioneering commitment to biodynamic viticulture, the house expresses the quintessence of Champagne through meticulous vineyard work and a deep respect for nature. Each cuvée reflects the heritage and precision that have shaped Roederer’s international reputation.

Terroir

Drawn from over 240 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, the grapes for Collection 244 come primarily from the Vallée de la Marne, Montagne de Reims, and Côte des Blancs. The diversity of soils and exposures allows for a harmonious blend, showcasing the finesse of Chardonnay, the structure of Pinot Noir, and the fruitiness of Meunier.
